我們學習“從屬連詞”，具體內容如下：

從屬連詞通常引導一個從句，修飾從句。從屬連詞一般分為兩類：引導名詞性從句（如主語從句、賓語從句、表語從句、同位語從句）的從屬連詞和引導狀語從句的從屬連詞。

一、引導名詞性從句的從屬連詞

引導名詞性從句的從屬連詞主要有that，if，whether等。

例句：

That

Jane let out the news annoys all of us。

簡洩露訊息的事使我們都不高興。（that引導主語從句）

例句：I believe

that

love is the greatest thing in this world；

that

it alone can overcome hate；that right can and will triumph over might。

我相信愛是世界上最強大的事物；只有愛能壓倒恨；而且相信正義能夠且最終會戰勝強權。（that引導賓語從句）

例句：I am wondering

if

you could help me。

不知你能否幫我一下。（if引導賓語從句）

例句：The question is

whether

they will ever become future Olympic champion。

問題是他們究竟會不會成為未來的奧林匹克冠軍。（whether引導的表語從句）

例句：Every child comes with the message

that

God is not yet discouraged of man。

每個孩子都帶來訊息說，上帝沒有對人完全失望。（that引導同位語從句）

二、引導狀語從句的從屬連詞

英語中的狀語從句共有九類，這些狀語從句各有其引導詞，有的引導詞又可以引導不同型別的狀語從句。

1）引導時間狀語從句

引導時間狀語從句的從屬連詞主要有when，while，as，after，before，until/till，since，as soon as，once等。

例句：Happiness is a butterfly，which，

when

pursued，is always just beyond your grasp；but which，if you will sit down quietly，may slight upon you。

幸福如一隻蝴蝶，當你想追尋時，總也抓不到；但當你安靜地坐下來時，它也許會飄落在你的身上。

例句：

While

I was typing，my sister was washing。

我在打字，妹妹在洗衣服。

例句：Women，

as

they grow older，rely more and more on cosmetics。Men，

as

they grow older，rely more and more on a sense of humor。

女人隨著年齡的增長越來越依靠化妝品，而男人隨著年齡的增長越來越依靠幽默感。

例句：

After

you finish this form，come to my office。

填完這張表後，來我的辦公室。

例句：The test of a comedian is whether you laugh at him

before

he opens his mouth。

檢驗一個人是不是真正的戲劇家就是你是否在他未開口時就笑。

例句：We are not satisfied，and we will not be satisfied

until/till

justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream。

我們現在不滿意，將來也不會滿意，直到正義如水奔流而下，正直如泉噴湧而出。

例句：I have lived in England

since

I was three。

自從三歲以來，我一直住在英格蘭。

例句：

Once

success is accomplished there，move another step，and another and another。

一旦取得成功，就向前再走一步，再走一步，再走一步。

2）引導地點狀語從句

引導地點狀語從句的從屬連詞主要是where，everywhere，anywhere，somewhere等。

例句：

Where

there is marriage without，there will be love without marriage。

哪裡有無愛的婚姻，哪裡就會有無果的愛情。

例句：Lay the books

somewhere

you can find them easily。

把書放在容易找到的地方。

例句：You can find her

everywhere

you go。

你所到之處都能發現她。

3）引導原因狀語從句

引導原因狀語從句的從屬連詞主要有because，since，as，now that，in that等。

例句：

As

you‘ve realized your mistake，I forgive you。

既然你意識到了錯誤，我就原諒你。

例句：Geniuses are the luckiest of mortals

because

what they must do is the same as what they most want to do。

天才時所有人中最幸運的，因為他們必須做的事和他們最想做的事是一致的。

例句：Be not angry that you cannot make others as you wish them to be，

since

you cannot make yourself as you wish to be。

不要因為別人不能成為你所希望的人而惱怒，因為你自己也不能成為你所理想的人。

4）引導條件狀語從句

引導條件狀語從句的從屬連詞主要有if，unless，once，supposing，provided，providing等。

例句：You must not lose faith in humanity。humanity is an ocean；

if

a few drops of the ocean are dirty，the ocean does not become dirty。

絕對不能失去對人性的信念。人性就像大海；即使大海中有幾滴水髒了，它也不會因此而變髒。

例句：You’ll never move others，heart to heart，

unless

your speech comes from your heart。

如果你說的話並非發自內心，你就不可能觸動別人的心絃。

例句：

Supposing

you lost your job tomorrow，what would you do ？

假如明天丟了工作，你怎麼辦？

5）引導目的狀語從句

引導目的狀語從句的從屬連詞主要有in order that，so that，so等。

例句：I locked the door

so that/in order that

I could settle down to my work。

我鎖上門以便靜下心來工作。

例句：Speak louder

so that/in order that

everyone can hear you。

聲音大一點以便讓大家都能聽見。

6）引導讓步狀語從句

引導讓步狀語從句的從屬連詞主要有although，though，even if，even though，while等。

例句：

Though

the thorn in the flower picked me，O beauty，I am grateful。

雖然那花間的刺刺痛了我，美啊，我依然感激你。

例句：She loves him

even though

he has many bad habits。

儘管他壞習慣不少，但她依然愛他。

例句：

While

we are neighbors，I don‘t them well。

儘管我們是鄰居，我對他們卻不太瞭解。

7）引導結果狀語從句

引導結果狀語從句的從屬連詞主要有so，so。。。that。。。，such。。。that。。。，so that等。

例句：The car came round the corner at

such

a velocity

that

the driver was unable to keep it on the road。

車子轉彎時速度太快，司機控制不住，結果衝出了街道。

例句：The teacher explained very clearly

so that

we all understood。

老師解釋得如此清楚，我們都聽懂了。

8）引導比較狀語從句

引導比較狀語從句的從屬連詞有than，as（so）。。。as。。。等。

例句：The plan turned out better

than

I had expected。

這項計劃的結果比我預料的好。

例句：There is not a passion

so

strongly rooted in the human heart

as

envy。

還沒有一種情感像嫉妒一樣頑固地根植在人心裡。

例句：Youth is the season of hope，enterprise and energy，to a nation

as well as

an individual。

對國家乃至個人，青春是充滿希望的季節，是進取向上的季節，是活力四射的季節。

9）引導方式狀語從句

引導方式狀語從句的從屬連詞主要有as，as if，as though，like等。

例句：You should do

as/like

I do。

你應按照我做的做。

例句：Treat your time

as if

someone is paying for it，someone is。

珍惜時間，要像珍惜別人重金購買的東西一樣，有人真的在花錢買它。
