結果狀語從句

： that 以便，so （such） 。。 that如……以致，so that因此/所以等。

They set off half an hour earlier that they might get there in time。

他們早出發半小時，以便及時到達那裡。

I‘ll wash the dress so that you can wear it。

He is such a good student that all the teachers like him。

他是個好學生，老師們都喜歡他。

She spoke so fast that nobody could catch what she was saying。

條件狀語從句

： if如果，in case如果，unless除非， lest唯恐，suppose/supposing假如，so/as long as只要，only if 只要/只有，if only 但願。。。該多好，on condition （that） 條件是。。。，provided （that） 假如等。

In case you see him， ask him about it。

如果你見著他，問問他這件事。

You may come if you want to。

如果你願意你可以來。

I refuse to do it unless you help。

你如果不協助，我是不幹的。

She began to be worried lest he should have met with some accident。

她開始不安起來，唯恐他發生什麼事。

As long as I have time to study， | don’t care whether the condition is good or not。

只要有時間學習，我不在乎環境好壞。

Only if I get a job will I have enough money to go to school。

： though/although 雖然儘管，even if/though即使，however （no matter how）無論怎樣，whatever （no matter what）無論什麼，whenever （no matter when）無論什麼時候，

wherever （no matter where）無論哪裡等。

I didn‘t get the job though I tried all my best。

儘管我使出渾身解數也沒有得到那份工作。

Even if I filed this exam， I will not give up my English studying。

即使我這次考試失敗了，我也決不會放棄我的英語學習。

No matter how hard it is， I will do my best to do it。

不管如何艱難，我都要盡力去做。

Whoever （No matter who） wants to speak to me on the phone， tell them I am out。
