1。 have a holiday： 度假，休假

Jim and I are going to have a holiday。

我和吉姆準備去度假。

I‘ve already had my holidays this year。

我今年已經度過假了。

2。 go to evening classes： 上夜校

I am going to evening classes for my English。

我打算去上夜校補習英語。

Jane went to evening classes for drive。

簡上夜校學習開車。

3。 have Chinese lessons： 上漢語課

How many lessons do you have every day？

你們每天上多少節課？

4。 study hard： 努力學習

注意副詞 hard 的使用。

Study hard， or you will get behind others。

努力學習，否則你就會落後於其他人。

Our victory was hard won。

我們的勝利來之不易。

5。 a few weeks later： 幾個星期以後

But some time later it began to snow。

但過了些時候天開始下雪了。

Many years later， in Washington， D。C。， he spoke to a crowd of 250，000 people。

許多年以後，在華盛頓特區，他向二十五萬美國人民發表了演說。

6。 make somebody do something： 讓某人做某事

注意 make 的動詞不定式不帶 to。

Father made me do homework when everybody else was having a good time。

別人玩的時候爸爸讓我寫作業。

Mary made me clean the room for her。

瑪麗讓我給她打掃房間。

7。 dress up： 打扮一下，化裝

She likes to dress up for a party。

她喜歡把自己打扮得漂漂亮亮去參加晚會。

They were dressed up in Victorian clothes。

他們化裝成維多利亞時代的人。

8。 Many happy returns of the day。

長命百歲。（祝福用語）

Wish you all the best！

祝你一路順風！

9。 Here’s a present for you。

給你一份禮物。

Here‘s the money。

給你錢。

“Give me a glass of water， please。” “Here you are。”

“請給我一杯水。”“給你。”

10。 Would you like to 。。。？

你想……嗎？

此句型常用於邀請或建議。

Would you like to see a film with me tonight？

今晚你想和我一起看電影嗎？

Would you like to have another cake？

你想再來一塊蛋糕嗎？
